So, I was on my random Worldstarhiphop.com surf and came across this interesting trailer for a spoof on Inception and the Lebron decision. I HAVE TO ADMIT, I CRACKED UP OFF OF THIS. But seriously this was a great idea, camera work was good, great editing and camera work as well. Kudos.

KANYE WEST ON SNL
This performance was crazy! Perfect combination of pagentry, art, and music. The all white set was odd at first glance but it grew on me once I watched it a few more times. Great ideas here!

PSA: STOP TEXTING AND DRIVING
This PSA was done by yours truly MCGEE/GLOVER MEDIA. It aired September 17th 2010 @ the Tennessee State University v Austin Peay Uni football game, in front of a crowd of 8,502 people. We had a lot of fun filming and editing this project, it was actually way more video but due to the time limit of the PSA we decided to leave a large amount on the cutting room floor (I always wanted to say that lol) Enjoy.
And to add to that check out the story done by the TSU Newsroom website on our PSA bit.ly/c9F18B

VMA PERFORMANCE 2010 EM & RHIANNA
MTV did again...their set design, lighting, sound and effects was AMAZING during this show. Every camera angle complemented the next. I honestly caught chills while watching this performance. A combination of Em's aggressive performance along w/ the visuals to compliment. Amazing performance all around.
Jasmine Sullivan - Holding You Down
I've always been a fan of Jasmine Sullivan, her voice is always so refreshing to hear. One of the true vocalist in the game right, not to mention is she is SEXY AS HELL (lol) Aside from my personal reasons, the video shot for her new single "Holding You Down" is a visual classic. Lots of color, great lighting, editing and screenplay. Amazing video. Kudos to the director.

"Smooth Off" feat Diddy & Aziz Ansari
This video proves why Diddy is my role model (lol) great concept, directing & shooting style. I have to admit Diddy is actually a decent actor in my book, still room for improvement, but he is headed in the right direction. Aziz Ansari, is just funny period.
All you marketing guru's and promotion heads, take note. Do things differently. Hell, I'd buy a bottle just because of this (lol)

One of my favorite A Different World Episodes
Just felt like posting one of my favorite shows from A Different World, it had such a impact on me from the first time I saw it years ago as a young teen. The message was so strong and direct. Yet the irony of it all seemed to be captured so well...
If you haven't seen this one, it is definitely one to watch, (not the full episode)

Janelle Monae - Cold War
So, if you don't already know...I've become a Janella Monae' fan. I continuously say this but her music is like "listening to a movie". Even though this video is VERY simple as far as production, it still deserves a nod from me for its simple yet artistic and effective purpose. Great job!
Kanye West Power
Just checked out the video for Kanye West's Power, its actually very visually appealing. The director made great work of capturing the entire feel of that era. Don't ask me about the messages that are being portrayed though I have my own viewpoint though & I actually read and article from the artist who did the video, but I already know somebody has cooked up some demonic meaning or the ever illusive illuminati talk (lol)has begun, all in all great vid.

The-Dream - Trilogy
Shoutout to The Dream & the Motion Family for this video, I was JUST having a conversation about someone pulling off a seamless video w/ mutiple songs, almost like a soundtrack with a movie. This video is definitely going in the right direction, great storyline, great shots, seamless editing. A director's dream project. Big Kudos.
This definitely inspires me, I present to you The Dream - Trilogy

J.Cole - Who Dat
Very good video concept, I actually thought the explosions and fires were done on green screen but the director BBGUN noted that it was done in one seamless shot. Good stuff! Definitely took some notes on this one.

Drake - Better than Good Enough (MTV Documentary)
MTV Documentary featuring Drake, speaks on different subjects from family, fears, & future. Shot in great style & taste. Good job MTV. SN: Drake is really an inspiring dude, his honesty definitely brings a lot of inspiration to our generation and the younger. Artist these days aren't putting "the real" into their music much anymore, and Drake successfully does just that.
IF you have seen it, here it is...enjoy.

Drake & Jimmy Kimmel - Tweet Tweet
This was actually funnier than I thought it would be (lol) but then again Jimmy Kimmel's video parodies are usually on point.

Doing some random youtubin and I came across another documentary that is definitely going to hit a mark with me. Spike Lee is collaborating with Absolut Vodka to present a short documentary on, guess what city, BROOKLYN. Now I talk like I am from this city but I have always been intrigued with the mystique that is New York City and all the historic cities that it encompasses. Check out the behind scenes look! NEXT IN LINE
After careful consideration and plenty of debate, I have decided to proceed with my Next In Line music showcase event. Most of you are probably wondering why this was so important to post to my blog and it is simply because this event has a special purpose. Not only a purpose for the musician or artist that it will showcase, but also for my life. When the vision was given to me, I knew that I had to make it happen.
So you will here more about this event very soon. Trust me, it will set the tone for music showcases alike.

Wale vs Skip Bayless
Every now and then I always see something that I have to give my opinion on. I'll admit I had a good laugh after watching this debate between Wale and Skip. I always respect Skip just because he sticks to what he feels...even though it can come across the wrong way you at least have to give me that...
New blog!!
Just wanted to let you all know that I'm new to blogging, so give me some time before you start to see all the fancy stuff happen...lol
